BANK ST.

// This project takes on two personalities to address the vastly different character of the two entrances in the building.  On the Bank Street side, the building has been designed to be a lightbox, in which the second floor glazing will feature full height banners related to the retail use below.  The second floor glazing is broken by a protruding glass volume that will feature fritted glass, giving multiples and a playful material interplay as day turns to night.  The back of the building will feature the main entrance.  Due to a change in grade, this side of the building gives the impression of being a single storey and has been designed to the scale of the occupant, instead of fast moving vehicular traffic.
